It’s almost time for the first “official” race of the year. Last year we hardly watched any racing. And we won’t watch it every week this year either because it just takes so much time. But – since it’s cold out yet, we’ll go ahead and watch the Daytona 500.

So – let’s get caught up on what else has been going on …
Stephanie & Paul got engaged! So there will be a wedding coming up – congrats to my sweet niece – love her so much and definitely wish them the best!
Brett & Trevor have been doing great in school. It has been a very mild winter, so they haven’t had any snow days yet. (shocking!!) They have started late a couple times, and let out early once. We got several inches of snow yesterday, but it probably won’t stick around very long. Spring will be here soon! Yay!
Eli has been under the weather the last couple days – hopefully it’s nothing serious. Low to mid-grade fever and a bad cough. My little pookie will be going to Kindergarten Round-up in about 3 weeks. (puke) I can hardly stand the thought of that. How did our baby get to be 4 1/2 years old?! We are thinking that he will go to T-K this fall. (not sure that I can handle the thought of him going to Kindergarten … we’ll try to adjust by doing T-K first) :) It worked out great for Brett & Trevor – so I’m pretty confident that it will be the right move for Eli too.
We’ll see how it goes.
